Functions

Sleep regulation can be
described as our ability to fall asleep, stay asleep, and go through adequate durations of the different stages of sleep in the appropriate order. While our Melatonin Spray formulation may benefit all of these different aspects of sleep health, the ingredients have been specifically selected to particularly aid in promoting a state of relaxation and facilitating getting to sleep:

Melatonin:

- Sleep Regulation:

Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland in the brain, and it plays a central role in regulating the sleep-wake cycle. It helps signal to the body that it's time to sleep and can be particularly helpful for those with sleep disorders, jet lag, or those who engage in shift work. Our Melatonin Spray uses a fraction of the dosage of oral products with higher bioavailability.

- Circadian Rhythm Control:

Melatonin helps maintain the body's circadian rhythm, which is the internal clock that regulates various physiological processes, including sleep, wakefulness, and hormone
release.

Theanine:

- Stress Reduction:

Theanine is an amino acid primarily found in tea leaves. It is known for its ability to reduce stress and promote relaxation by increasing the production of alpha brain waves, which are
associated with a state of calm and alertness.

- Stress Management:

Theanine can help alleviate symptoms of stress by influencing neurotransmitters in the brain, particularly by
increasing the levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which has calming effects.

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine):

- Neurotransmitter Production:

Vitamin B6 is essential for the
production of neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine, and
gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). These neurotransmitters play crucial
roles in sleep regulation, stress management, and overall brain
function.
The three ingredients in our Melatonin Spray support relaxation, stress reduction, sleep quality, and overall well-being. When used
appropriately and in consultation with a healthcare provider, they may help address specific needs related to sleep quality, stress management, and cognitive function. It is important to follow recommended dosages
and guidelines of our product for safe and effective use.

How to Use

To use our Get to Sleep Spray:

Dispense two sprays intranasally, 15-30 minutes
before your intended bedtime. Breathe in gently while you are
dispensing the sprays; if the spray goes into the back of your throat, you inhaled too deeply or quickly, and should try to be more gentle with
the inhale during the next administration.

After dispensing the product, tilt your head back slightly, and hold this position for at least 60 seconds before blowing your nose to ensure proper absorption. If a half hour passes and you do not feel that the effect is strong enough, you may repeat the 2-spray dose.

In order to avoid compromising the efficacy of the Melatonin Spray, it is important to try to practice good sleep hygiene
habits, such as keeping lighting as dim as possible starting a few hours before bed, keeping the temperature cool, etc. See our recommended blog
articles for specific tips on how to maximize your sleep health.

Clinical Evidence

Melatonin is a neurohormone that is naturally produced by the pineal gland in the brain
in response to darkness; it is responsible for regulating the body's sleep-wake cycle. Numerous studies have demonstrated melatonin's ability to decrease the time it takes to fall asleep and improve sleep quality.

It has been shown to be particularly effective in individuals with both
short-term and long-term abnormal sleep patterns, such as those suffering from jet lag or those who engage in late-night shift work. 1

Theanine is a rare amino acid found in high abundance in green tea. It is the compound responsible for green teas ability to increase cognition
with a low risk of jitters. Several studies have shown its ability to increase alpha brain waves, the same brain waves experienced during deep
meditation. Studies also suggest that theanine help improve sleep quality.

Vitamin B6 is necessary for the absorption and utilization of amino acids. We add Vitamin B6 to our Melatonin Spray with Theanine for increased absorption and utilization of Theanine.
